The Committee has also published a separate

Index to local newspapers by place

for the Yorkshire and the Humber Region.

These research aids should be used in consultation with the local studies librarian from the appropriate library.  

Library staff will advise on opening hours of study centres and the necessary booking procedures for microfilm readers as well as on other relevant source material.  This especially applies to readers who may wish to travel to the British Library Newspaper Library at Colindale, London.
